We are thrilled to spotlight Daterra Pearl, a remarkable coffee that aligns with our commitment to sustainability through the Monogram Sustainability Project. Founded in the 1980s when sustainability was an emerging concept, the Daterra Coffee Project has long been a pioneer in social development and environmental stewardship.
Daterra’s innovative approach includes 216 mini farms, each spanning 5-15 hectares, where each terroir is harvested at its peak cherry maturation. Their advanced sorting technology, developed over a decade, ensures every cherry is meticulously sorted to maintain exceptional quality.
Named for its resemblance to a small pearl, Daterra Pearl is a peaberry, where a single round seed forms instead of the usual two. This coffee embodies the classic Brazilian profile with its nutty and sweet flavors, offering a delightful cup that highlights both the skill of its producers and our shared commitment to sustainable coffee practices. For every bag of Daterra Pearl sold, a portion of the proceeds supports the Tree_llion project, reinforcing our dedication to environmental and social responsibility.
